Bet in the dark

Put a bet out before the cards are dealt out, most often before the flop or turn is seen. Dark bet is usually used in a funny way, but sometimes it is done to confuse an opponent.
Example: They are heads up to the flop and before dealer spreads out the cards, Phil decides to bet in the dark.
