Fake thinking

This is a common tactic used by many players. It involves a player who has a very strong hand, but that player pretends to be thinking as to whether or not he or she should bet, call a bet, etc. In reality, the player already knows he or she will be in the action. They do this, usually, to entice opponents to stay in the game and to put more money in the pot!
