Get Ready for Day 2 of the $10 Million Venom on ACR

At 1pm ET, Day 2 of the $10 million guaranteed Venom will start with the 645 remaining players ready to battle over the biggest ever prize pool paid out on ACR. After four starting flights the action is within touching distance of the prize money.

Biggest Payout in ACR History

After a slow start, the Day 1 starting flights built up to a massive, almost 1,600 entries last night. A total of 3,930 players came tantalisingly close to breaking the $10 million guarantee, falling short by only $175,000.

So, the guarantee wasn’t made, but the players will still be fighting for what will be the most money ever paid out in an ACR poker tournament.

In January this year, the Venom ran a guarantee of $8 million, which was easily made with 3,774 entries building a $9,435,000 pile of cash. This success saw Phil Nagy take a risk that almost paid off when he bumped it up by 25%.

Today’s session will be an 11-hour marathon, after which the remaining players will sit down tomorrow at the same time to play it out until only the final table remains.

On Wednesday, August 4, will see a later start of 5pm ET, with play continuing until the winner is decided.
