Unibet has updated their T&C
Morning guys,
Upon logging in to Unibet today I noticed that they have changed their T&C. I've briefly scrolled through them and there has been 1 major point in there. The use of 3rd party software is now strictly forbidden, where I believe it used to be a grey zone before. I Quote:
"16. You accept and acknowledge that we reserve the right, both at our sole discretion, to
detect and prevent the use of prohibited programs, including but not limited to hand
trackers, HUDs (heads up displays) and screen capture techniques. These steps may
include, but are not limited to, examination of software programs running concurrently
with the Unibet poker software on the Player’s device.
17. You agree that you will not attempt to bypass, interfere with, or block such steps,
including, without limitation, the use of third party software that bypasses, interferes with,
masks or blocks such steps. Any attempt to restrict Unibet poker software in this matter
will entitle Unibet to immediately suspend or block any Unibet services to you.
Personally I am pretty happy Unibet is taking steps like these. I must admit that I have used it myself aswell when I believed it wasn't illegal to do so. I've personally stopped using it over the last weeks, don't feel like I get to much out of it and certainly not if I'm risking a ban.
What do you guys think of the way Unibet is currently treading? I personally think they're one of the few sites who take their customers seriously at the moment. With Stars pissing their own cash cows off, 888 being a total shithole atm (Excuse me for the wording, but I think it describes the current situation perfectly) and Ipoker being full of bots.
I'm hoping for them to grow and gain market share.
Thanks for reading and I'd be up for some discussion
