I recently made a list of around 20 events which I am planning to play over the summer. Most of these are £80 live events with the average prizepool around £3k. Although there are some bigger events around £90-100 in Dublin with 10-20k gtd. These are pretty soft fields and I have a pretty good profit in them although I never sat down and recorded as it was more of a casual thing to get a break from university or else I worked as a dealer instead of playing.
So the total buyins have came to £1k. And I've mentioned to a few of my friends if they've any interest in staking me for all events and it got me wondering whether I should just selling a straight % of my games or if I should sell 100% to cover all the buyins and split 50/50 after makeup.
Obviously I know the differences to both, and I believe that 50/50 after makeup would be handier as it would allow me to essentially freeroll all the events and cover my own expenses/travel. I'm also not particularly comfortable with my friends giving me a few hundred each and then having zero returns after 3 months (this may just be a massive leak on my part though), most of them play poker and know the risks/variance.

So basically I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts/preferences to either sell 100% with makeup or just sell a straight % of yourself. Also - regardless of what I do I'll be selling with zero markup if this makes any difference.
