This is a very complicated question and I can't really answer it for you without more info. Instead, I'll offer you something to think about regarding the growing difficulty of making it at poker. Every competitive endeavour gets harder and harder with time and I'm sure that - for example - every athlete would love to go back in time 10-20-30 years while maintaining their current level of skill, but it's not an option. Whether making a living playing poker is a good option for you or not (and I'd assume it's not... yet, as micro stakes aren't really sufficient to live of off and 100k hands is a drop in a proverbial bucket when it comes to volume and judging your winrate) you can't make the decision based on the discrepancy between the reality of 2012 and present day, you have to judge it based on the current situation. Some great choices. These networks are much softer then Pokerstars and the returns are a lot higher. I would recommend you give somewhere else a try as Stars is notoriously tough.
