Hi everyone. Names DreamOfSheep.23 years old and from New Zealand.

I have been playing poker on and off for over 6 years. Mostly micros all the way upto 600NL (tilty shots).

I started getting back into poker on 1st December 2014. Bankroll of $50 into 888. And hoping to work it back up. So lately I have been floating around the forums, watching videos and even thinking about starting a Journey thread. There is still so much I have to learn. Basic Pot odds, EVs, Reading boards. And I hope to learn these things here at PokerVIP. One goal during 2015 is to be winning 50nl player :).

Cheers Smile

@arti3.... What games/stakes do you play? Whats your plan for poker?

I've grinded my way from nl2 to nl25 for a decent bankroll, but since mentioned earlier, never really took poker seriously and was pretty much playing around, cashing out for some silly expenses. I've always found it quite exciting to be able to grind from bottom up, hence why I have decided to give it a little more thought and take it more seriously, but not to the point that it will take over my life, since I have a good FT job and some other life commitments. It is still great to have something else on the side that can be awarding and enjoyable :)

Awesome stuff! Yeah I know what you mean there totally.

Well best of luck to you! Smile

@DreamOfSheep.... Oh wow, New Zealand... I'm only a little bit jealous! Wink You should definitely start a journey for sure. Its a great way to stay focused and disciplined and you will get some great advice along the way. Best of luck with your goals! Smile

@Crazykeri
I am especially pleased with the way you receive the beginners.

I am from a state called Minas Gerais. We have a large capital, but my state has a beautiful and captivating countryside.
Life in Brazi is good because we brazilians dodged the problems and enjoy the beauty of our country. But there's lots of other coutries I want to know, like New Zealand.
Unfortunately we are currently undergoing major government corruption scandals, including our largest company, Petrobras.

Hey guys, Dman here. 24 years old.

I moved to Paris 3 months ago to start a new job. Was in london before hand. Mainly played live, and the occasionally online.

Playing on Winamax online here in Paris, currently playing on NL10-NL30. Going to try and see how that goes and build a descent bankroll. Prefer tournaments online though aswell.

Cats name is Maximus (Galdiator - ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!)

Hey uLLiKi!!!

So where were you born and originally from? What kind of job do you have? Sounds like a pretty exciting move. Where do you prefer London or Paris?

Hey Jon,

Was born in Albania but moved to UK London when I was a child.

I work as a Technical Service Manager for a telecoms company here, running their UK operations. I dont speak any french but as I am working with UK clients only english is needed.

Paris is really cool, and I am sure after I spend more time here will be much better. However London is at another level for me, because I was raised there and understand how everything works.

Wanted to post a new thread, but dont think I have enough posts for that.

In general, I am using a macbook and wanted to know what software people use to help them with playing poker. Any tips in general? Anything poker related.

Cheers,

Hey buddy, I think you need 7-10 posts to be able to post. Sorry I don't know much about Mac. I know a few people here use a virtual machine when playing poker to get HEM and PT working correctly.

Hey Guys.
my name is John im from UK
i'm playing the microstakes at stars
I saw your videos on YouTube and I learned a lot
And since I'm studying poker from books and videos on my own, I need guidance from more experienced users, so I signed up to the forum
I'd love to upload videos of me playing , and hand histories
So you can correct me on mistakes and I could improve my game
I will be happy to help anyone who needs in the community in everything that I could, and of course as I improve I will help more
