TwiistedLogik: Hello Community

I found this site through friends after being laughed at because I have apparently been missing out on Rake-back for years.I cant be the only one that's never given it a second thought,or maybe I am. Anyway I have found you and signed up at IPoker Coral with an agent and hopefully with this addition of RB can improve my monthly win rate.

I don't just want the RB, thats just a bonus.I have been looking for a friendly(ish) forum to learn and discuss things and take my game forward.

Seem to have found that from the quick scan of forum posts and discussions. So really looking forward to being part of PokerVIP.

You'll love it here. Once you get 10 four posts how about starting a journey in the journey Thread to keep track of your progress and to keep us updated Yes

What stakes are you playing?
Where you from?

AldoW83: I signed up to the site for the site for the study and learning elements, sadly I already had pre-existing accounts on a lot of sites.

Are there any RB deals where you don't need to open a new account with the poker room?

If your account has not been active in a few months then sometimes the pokervip guys can sort something out. Usually handy to have them on Skype for this sort of thing! They've sorted me out a few times

Hello Barrabod

Thank's I think i will enjoy it here. I play NL-20 Speed and NL-25 on normal tables. I prefer the normal tables really but unfortunately to get in the volume it has to be speed now.

I'm from the UK, yourself? Where do you play? Limits? May bump into each other.

I will create a journey i think,I've just started reading some and it probably really helps peoples games. Might take a while for ten worthwhile posts.

I'm from the UK also (Scotland) I play on William hill on the IPoker network. I play on sky too, if you've not got a sky poker account then I suggest you check it out, it's the softest site I've been on, bad players tilt me tho Punch
I've moved down to 5NL with a £100 bankroll which I'm going to build up Yes
once you start getting rake back you will want to grind even more!

You'll get the 10 posts in no time if you join in. Maybe give your thoughts on some hands in the strategy section.

Excellent, will probably see you at the tables in the near future.

I'll try and add my thoughts to some hands hopefully.Sky is horrible IMO,I totally agree about it being soft. It's beyond soft from when I played.I found it so hard though not to get involved with the retards because they were so bad.I found myself continuously trying to force play because they cant fold, which is my issue I know. Made me so mad,i just cashed out and moved sites.

I splashed around on sky tor a bit. Might go back once I have built a bankroll. Only thing imdidntblike was the really short timer.

I think full tilt is the best software by far. I always go back there and to Stars for the MTTs. There is just so many and great value guarantees prize pools

Hi all,
I'm tom wills been playing poker for 8 years. Despite having a very successful and profitable friend taking time to teach me and go through situations and spots when I hit them I in general suck. No excuse for how bad I can be. The issue is time. I go through periods where I can't make the time to play and learn and end up cashing back out after 4 months of playing well.

Anyway... As of now I'm only playing £4 6max nl at Sky poker. I manually track my data and since returning ive played 23 hours and running £1.07 per hour in profit. Won't count the average until I have at least 120 hours of play but it's an indication so far. That's despite an awful downswing of people calling 4x raise, pot and pot with gunshots and hitting on the river an awful lot (and similar overall profitable situations) in my last 3 sessions so overal I'm happy despite that.

I love card sleight of hand been doing it since 2009 in public and at events etc

3 kids total 2 of which are my own and I'm a faults manager for a broadband provider.

I love cheese....

The end

Twills

Had my first score since signing up. So you guys must be doing something right!!

It's micro stakes, but better than nothing. I binked a $1, 45 man Sit n Go for $12. Ran ridiculously good, getting lucky on the river 3 times, but you gotta win the flips to win an MTT, right?

Nice one...You've always gotta win the flips (cash). If your taking your poker game more serious how about starting a journey ey thread to track your progress?

I'll consider it, definitely.

I'm starting again with a new BR, and definitely taking it more seriously than before. Not sure if I can filter out my previous horrible results from my graphs. If I can I'll look to put something up.

Same as what i did. Moved down stakes and started at 5NL with £100 to see how far I can go.

Can you not select a time period to show for your graph and miss out everything else so far?

Yeah, I am sure I will be able to.

I am staying off the cash tables and focusing on MTT and 45 man SnG's and the like. Once I have improved my game I'll go back to the cash tables, but I found it too easy to lose discipline, thinking to myself, "it's OK I can just reload if I lose this"

When I play MTT I focus a lot more on making correct decisions and worrying less about the results,at cash tables I tended to reload and lose an extra buy in or two. Struggle to walk away when I am on tilt. Risking a fixed buy in is where I need to be for now until I am more confident and can deal with tilt appropriately.

Also, I think a journey thread would help me a lot. If I have to report on my results, it will encourage me to play my best and think about the spots I find myself in.
