Jon-PokerVIP:
War...: Hello everyone, just joined PokerVIP and I must say I'm impressed...
I loved how welcoming those e-mails I got after signing up were, thanks for that.
Usually those types of e-mails from other sites are just boring junk, but PokerVIP made my night... lol

I'm Hugo "War...", 27 years old, I do have more grey hair then my dad, I started playing poker back in High School with friends, got into FullTilt around +- 2008...
Played for about a year, only at micros NLHE then I quit for no reason. Around 2010 I got into PokerStars for awhile, was a complete Fish, lost around 100 bucks and quit again...
Moved to Brazil in 2010, played a few home games during that year... and stayed away from it again, just last month a friend which owns a pub asked me about setting up a small pokerclub in our town and using his pub as our clubhouse... I am in the process right now to setting everything up legally, and for that reason installed PokerStars again, to get a little practice going last month, only to find out there was 2 bucks in there, turned those $2 into $32 dollars of luck...

I'm trying to play at least an hour a day, to practice and learn, so I can maybe be good at it...

Also I'm an engineering major and I teach English to underprivileged kids here in Brazil.

Thanks for having me everyone!

War...

Sup War! How interesting that 2 players who live in Brazil have recently joined our forum....awesome!

Can i ask how you came across us?

Anyways your life sounds pretty interesting and i am also in the grey haired club at the ripe age of 27! Maybe we play to much poker?

I came across PokerVIP on youtube while trying to learn a bit more about softwares people use to help them play online, which I didn't even know about, until I decided to start playing again... so while researching it, saw one of your videos, went to pokerVIP channel, came to the website, here I am... lol

Hey guys!

My names Jimmy, currently living in Sweden and after i have settled for a couple of months off work i went back to the pokertables.

I used to play alot of Heads Up NL Holdem and regular on nl25-50, back when it used to be a thing. Sadly its hard to come by good action today in lower stakes.
Pokervips own Jon actually inspired me to come back and try Zoom, i know i got stuck at a blind vs blind video and realised the pokergame aint what it used to be, and thats great!

27 years old and love nature, fishing and just plain having fun, love making some extra beercash on the comp once in a while to Wink

I will now start my journey as nl5 zoom player, and alot of help will come from pokervip im sure!

Good luck to you all!

Hi, Just saying hello. Was watching an xflixx vid on youtube and when it finished I noticed a 5nl zoom vid advertised and it was from pokerVIP so had to come over and have a look. Can't believe you have such great coaches (Weasel!!!) with vids for free!!

I am currently playing 10nl zoom on pokerstars. Have played poker since about 2007. Good results at MTT low stakes and sngs and pre black friday was crushing rush poker on full tilt. Had a break after black friday but have dipped in and out the last couple of years of cash. I keep slowly moving up ...2nl....5nl..10nl...25nl...then seem to get crushed and have to start again. Do have a tendency to tilt and move up stakes to chase losses which has destroyed my roll but am trying to control that.

Coming here to try and revitalise my career and reach my goal of 50NL zoom so I can a decent part time income.

I'm an accountant during the day. Married with children, 2 dogs, hate fishsticks (so do the dogs) and I live near Norwich, UK.

Hey Jimmy, welcome to the site. I think HU games are pretty hard to come at at most stakes, but I'd have thought 50nl would be easier than 100+ because the lack of regs? Or are there more regs?

@thegoodthebad, are you a Norwich fan? If so, where you see them finishing this season?

Hi Harvie. I will go now and again to watch Norwich - pre season friendlies against the Euro teams but I don't go week to week, tend to follow Glasgow Rangers.

I think Norwich have a fantastic young manager right now but it's going to be a huge step up - all the teams around them are spending millions on players. I think they might lose Redmond this summer and they need a prolific striker.

Hi guys,

I m Andrei , i m 24 and i currently live in The Netherlands! I play poker since i am 16 and online since i am 18! Made a shit load of money adn lost a shit load of money due to bad BR management! I try to discipline my self and i think this forum will help me succeed! I took a few month break due to a 3k $ burst on PS due to off BR play!

I started playing on Gala yesterday and made my way from 30e to 250e. I will probably start a journal as well to help me stay focussed!

I love PLO game , i play 6max cash and HU and i play NL holdem cash and mtt!

I have some good results in MTT, but due to my lifestyle , mostly my career i do not have so much time to invest in MTTs.

That's pretty much it, cheers to all of you out there and i hope my journal will kick ass and bring some good results!

Thanks,
Peace

Wusssssssssup

It does sound like you have pretty bad bankroll management but so do many others. What games are you going to be playing on Gala?

Yeh MTTs really do know how to burn time that's for sure. Any sick results in these?

Ready to follow your journey as i reckon it could be an 'Isildur1' type story!

Good luck

Hey, this is the next step in improving my game. Started playing about 5 years ago. I read a few books lightly and jumped in head first. I figured I could learn from just playing. Went good early on ... thanks variance. After watching my trend steadily go south and ultimately bringing me to my knees I decided to start back at square one. So for the last month or so I have been putting in about 20 hours a week studying the game. Already, i have seen some positive results. So, i am right on schedule. I knew right from the beginning that i would literally beat the shit out of myself mentally before i started studying seriously. Its just the way i operate. LOL.Glad to be here. Tom
