Jon-PokerVIP: aveits: Hey Guys! Acácio from Brazil. I'm 22, and I'm playing NLH and a bit one of PLO cash low stakes.
My dream is to be a professional poker player and play on high stakes.
Today I have a job and play poker simultaneously, but I am working to be free of my current job and just play poker.
I play on Pokerstars room and I started to play 1-2 years ago.
I prefer to play poker live than online, I think cause of the human contact and interaction.
Looking to learn more and more about poker, discuss hands and everything about this exciting game!
Hey there Acacio great to see you on our forum. How did you find us?
What are the live games like in Brazil? Lots of action? Many big casinos?
I am just about to start learning PLO any advice?
Hi, Jon!
I find you on the facebook suggested pages.
Well, on Brazil we are "fighting" to have more places to play poker. I live in Porto Alegre, here we have more than a million of habitants and we have just a few places to play poker and nothing like a casino, you know? But each day, poker are growing up here, I think because celebrities are joining us and that is very good cause many people think poker is a 'game of bad luck'.
Examples of poker ambassadors here, André Akkari (maybe the most important), Bruno Foster (our first WSOP november niner), Alê Gomes (our first bracelet winner), Igor Federal (President of the Brazilian Confederation of poker), Neymar Jr., Ronaldo, etc. I think you know all of them.
About PLO, I'm just a beginner, but I like so much of play! Maybe you can follow Gabriel Goffi, he is the best that we have here in Brazil, he play the nosebleed games on pokerstars, he streams on twitch sometimes.
Sorry if my English are wrong sometimes, I'm learning about it also
