Hello and welcome Andrew!

Are you from Budapest? I lived there for a couple of months back in 2011 not long after I started playing full time and began travelling. Lovely place.

Bingo! Lovely place but not so lovely for poker. You can even end up in jail for advertising poker sites around here.

AndrewTheBest: Hey guys,

I'm Andrew from Hungary. Got here by looking for SNG strategies on youtube, aaand I was surprised to see some 1-hour pokervip courses up for completely free. I found them very practical and helpful. To give back something to the community, I ended up here signing up. I'm in the learning phase of poker, I've been playing, well, for I guess a half a year now, mostly micro SNGs and jackpot SNGs. Haven't won any jackpots though. (The easiest-to-hit jackpot sng was just removed from ipoker, it hurts)

What I realised is that folks playing micro stakes are pretty easy to beat, calling underpairs, bluffing all-ins sometimes. So I try to build a decent bankroll with $1-$2 SNGs now, while eventually playing MTTs to try my luck.

Long term plans? As soon as I feel comfortable with my bankroll, I plan to play mainly MTTs. They are always a good challenge, even tough it requires a bit different gameplay than what I currently do at SNG tables.

Thanks for signing up buddy and coming to say hello! I would love to look at getting some new SnG coaches and some new content on the site. Is there anything particular you want as a SnG player?

Any big binks?

Jon-PokerVIP: Is there anything particular you want as a SnG player?

I mainly want to improve my postflop play. Preflop opening ranges and that very few situations to limp in are pretty conservative and easy to master. Postflop, however, I often struggle with profiling my enemies. Lately I've faced a lot of loose players, who just didn't care about whether there was a cbet, they just wanted to see the river. I generally play well against TAGs, but these people... It's scary even if I had some kind of pot control to see them showing two pairs T5o and such.

I'm thinking about installing some real-time HUD swag, but I'm not sure how legal they are where I play.

Hi everyone my name is Ken, I'm from Canada I've been playing poker for about a year 5n NLHEl. Fell in love with the game immediately, not so much for monetary reasons but rather how poker mimics life, how some of the same attributes needed to understand poker and excel at it are some of the same attributes needed to excel in life, business and relationships. Found a couple of videos on Utube by Adam Jones that really helped my game so I decided to look up PokerVIP.

Hey guys,

I am a NLHE 6max cash game player.

I have been playing online poker for 5 years now. I played limits up to NL100 and hyper turbo HUSNGs up to 30$ but currently I have very limited time to grind because of my fiancée and my job. Poker is just a side income for me, my primary focus is my job and my family these days. I was out of the poker world for more than a year, then 3 months ago I started all over again at nl2 to collect some $ for my wedding. Currently I am 8tabling zoom @ nl5 and nl10. I am not even sure if I can beat nl25 to be honest becuase of how the games have improved in the last couple of years, so first I'll have to find out what I am capable of in today's player pool.

To be honest I discovered w34z3l's strategy videos at another site and immediately fell in love with his thought process and stlye, so when I found out he is a coach on pokervip as well,I insta-registered to your site.

Everything is quite new here for me right now. Hopefully I can give back something to the community for the amazing articles and videos I found here.

Best of luck to you all, and also sorry for my English - it is not my mother tounge.
