hi guys cant find the hand in my history but heres how the action goes...

4nl
MP limps
Im in SB with pocket AA i make it 4x the BB
BB flats with Q10 of, as does MP

FLOP comes 9J4 rainbow i c-bet 3/4 pot, BB raises MP folds I call.

turn is a harmless 6 but 2 clubs now on show.
i check call the turn, and the Ace of clubs hits the river!

i check he shoves remaining stack like £2.24 into £4.90 i call. He wins with Q10 of clubs!!

i figured he was on a draw. any tips or advice how i could of played the hand better?

Hey Jason,

You should post your hands Line checks/HH Reviews/Stat Analysis you will get more comments there.

As for the hand. I would go ahead and bet the turn pretty big to charge draws. The board is pretty wet and the last thing we want is for draws to get a free card.

On the river I think you can't do anything but call. We have top set and the odds we're getting to call are just too good to fold.

You should never check call the turn just keep betting. We want to get value from all his worse one pairs and of course draws.

As played backdoors will happen and don't worry about it. If we are checking here it should be to induce so all good.
