A pretty terrible lineup however Hunt vs Mir could be one hell of a fight as both of them are warriors!

Its a tough one as Hunt stood up is unstoppable but Mir on the ground will iron out Hunt in no time!

Mir's last fight was f'in insane

Hunt vs Silva is one of the greatest fights I have ever seen. I have it on my DVR and still watch it every now and then. It's kind of shocking how either of them could fight again after that one.

Meanwhile, Frank Mir is 65 years old and still near the top of the division, gotta give it up for that. (I think Hunt is even older, but it seems like Mir has been around since aliens built the pyramids.)

Mir is only 36 (agree he seems a lot older) whereas Hunt is 41.

I really hope this fight does not get past the 2nd round because if it does, it will be as slow as hell lol.

Gonna be a hard one to call and I give it to Hunt if Mir decides to box which is what he seems to be doing for the last X fights then I fully suspect Hunt to KO him.

agree on all points. Neither guy can be described as having a high motor. And I think Hunt can take a punch as well as anyone in the division, so Mir will have a hard time getting the KO.

I just saw the rest of the card for Sat's fight. God I've heard of about 2.5 of the guys outside of ME. Fortunately it's on reg sports channel in canada, so I don't have to go through the effort of ~~stealing it~~ I mean ~~paying cover charge at a pub~~ I mean paying for PPV.

Everyone catch the news that next up for Notorious is a rematch w Diaz? Ofc I'm looking forward to that, but doesn't he have to defend his belt at some point?

A rematch? Hmm, I don't think I really want to see that fight again, much better match ups at 145 for him and for Diaz at 155.

As for Mir vs Hunt - wow that KO and walk away was epic. Not sure how he can win a fight like that and not celebrate or jump for joy. Mir is a huge guy but damn, that was a killer shot.

That's low, brother! Mir was completely out, and Hunt knew it before the ref did. You can see Mir's legs didn't even hit the ground, they were frozen in midair.
