lol
@CycleVancouver - Have to say I love that!
@CrazyCookie But the world is a very large place, we are a tiny little island, its not the same. If there is an instance where we were running another country into the ground then I would say the same thing. I don't think people who are here should be deported or anything like that, but we need to tighten the borders for sure, its just not sustainable at this rate.
I get what you are saying about what Killjoy said and others along the same lines and I agree, people should not vote on something like this over something like that, as much as I dislike Cameron, butttt I don't agree with calling them scum, idiots etc, that is immature and aggressive in my eyes.. Unfortunately that is the system. Sad truth is anyone could walk in, close their eyes and tick a box without even giving it a thought, but thats just the way it is.
Do be careful with how you use the word racist by the way. Honestly what your post insinuated is that half of the country is supporting racism and that could get you into a lot of conflict. I was offended by it to say the least.
What people ignored that though? Everyone I know who voted out fully expected it, its come as no shock to anyone. Its about the long term though, a bit like poker I suppose, you can't just play for the short term. Many of the young voters on the remain side voted remain because they were worried they would be broke and rightly so, but actually I think it shows strength of the people that the majority of this country were willing to take that risk in order to be independent.
Serious question. Does anyone really think the UK wont recover from this? You say we were "out performing most of the world"- Although I don't like your wording, I get what you are saying. But do you think that is because of the EU? Is the UK where it is now because of the EU? And does anyone really think trading with the EU will cease forever more? Of course it won't, people value our produce and our market too much and if they really want to be so petty, then we wont have any problem just trading with the rest of the world. but I would bet it will happen anyway, probably much sooner then everyone anticipates.
What is it about remain that people feel so strongly about anyway? This is a genuine question and one I am yet to find a solid answer for. Maybe I just live on another planet (its quite possible) but anyone feel free to jump in with your reasonings, I am interested to know. Like you say its not about you gf and it doesn't effect you, so what is so bad about leaving? It seems like an all round win with short term effects to me.
And stop playing like a donk then lol!
