Didn't watch it live but caught up with it as soon as I woke up. I think the best man won......all you have to do is look at their faces to see who won the fight.

I want to see the trilogy BUT in like 3 fights time. A Diaz retirement fight type thing.

I feel like even this fight was too soon. Maybe McGregor's win proves my reasoning wrong, but I feel like he should've fought at least 2 more times at this weight class before the rematch to prove that he's comfortable walking at around at 170lbs.

I record the whole card and it was awesome. Every fight was insane, Anthony Johnson knocked Glover out in 25 seconds and you can see his tooth go flying in the air.

I defo wanna see a McGregor vs Diaz III but not right away, would be cool to see McGregor defend his belt and Nick fight someone else and then they go back at it.

CM Punk is fighting on the 10th, really interested to see how he gets on, he is 37.

I think a title shot at 155lbs would be next for McGregor? Alaverez called him out as soon as he won the title from Dos Anjos. I don't think he has the motivation to go back down to 145lbs at the minute to fight Aldo although he's basically begging for it

In other news Diaz was vaping cannabis oil when doing the post fight interviews - could be GG for him

Would love to see him have a title shot at 155 but feels a bit out of order for the rest of the 155 and 145ers who were either in line or waiting to him McGregor.

Honestly I think McGregor Vs. Aldo would be the right match next.

Lol at Diaz, I'm sure he doesn't give a F now that he's made about $3million + in this last few fights. AFAIK you can smoke weed if you're not fighting, could be wrong.

Only watched it last night, had to avoid social media (and this thread). What a fight! So clever from McGregor, slowing the pace, keeping it standing, and killing Diaz' leg with those kicks. But boy he was exhausted in the 5th, wont be fighting that weight again.

I was disappointed with one judge having it a draw. I had it:

Rd1 10-9 McGregor - He dominated pretty easy.
Rd2 10-8 McGregor - Really beat him up and 2 knockdowns.
Rd3 10-9 Diaz - Clear round for Nate, Connor looked ready to be taken in the 4th.
Rd4 10-9 McGregor - Close at the start with the clinches but Connor had a second wind and took the round.
Rd5 10-9 Diaz - This was really close but Diaz maybe did more and got the takedown at the end.

Pretty clear victory for McGregor. I think he'll take the Aldo rematch then, win or lose, go to 155.

Respect to Diaz, he is one bad motherfucker.

In other fights, what about Cowboy? That 4 shot combo was awesome!

I was in Vegas this weekend, shockingly managed to go the entire time without finding out who won, so I was able to watch the card on Wednesday. Good stuff all the way through. Like

Aldo's one of the best ever, it has to be him next for Notorious. Cowboy always entertains. Rumble and DC both seem like nice guys as well as great fighters, so that's be a good rematch.

While watching this weekend's card they mentioned Diaz has the most postfight bonuses in UFC history, 15, which is awesome for a guy who's only even fought for a title once (I think). Joe Lauzon is tied for 2nd w 14, talk about a random guy to be that high on the list.
