Post your favourite phone apps

Posted 8 years ago

I'm always on the lookout for the best games on the market. It doesn't have to be a game, it can be an app you feel makes your life easier, or healthier.

It can be anything from Pokemon Go to Run Keeper.

Go go go!

I'll start this off with a game I literally downloaded 20 mins ago.

So far it's a pretty good game. Reminds me of Clash of Clans but you only play against thr phone. The point of thr game is to attack other cartel, take their money, strengthen your Base and traffic drugs for money. Seems like my kind of game Smile

One thing I don't like about it is things take a while to load.

I try not to download games on my phone because I'll spend even more time on it. I try to limit my phone experience to the bare minimum.

By far the best app for me is Uber, might not be cost effective in England but in Thailand a taxi starts off at 70p.

Funny you should say that because I've been playing this game for far too long now! I could be spending this time learning something new but I'm having too much fun Laugh

Great shout with Uber!! The best thing to use while abroad, and even good while in the UK! And for anyone who has never used Uber. You get £10 off your first taxi ride is one if your friends sends you a code! Only works in certain cities across the UK, but they are expanding VERY quickly!

This is a great app for learning another language. it has, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and many more! Its a free and and great when you're on the move. There are a few more apps on the app store/google play which are just as good also!

The fewer apps on the phone the better. I'm spending the vast majority of my life in a digital world as it is anyway... but if I had to point out one it would definitely be MyFitnessPal.

Super easy to use, makes something that used to be tedious (calorie/macro counting) a breeze.

I've heard of MyFitnessPal but I've never used it. It is mainly for weight loss or are there other aspects to the app?

It's basically your one-stop shop for all things fitness. You can track your calories, macros, workouts etc. Check it out if you're into that sort of stuff. Counting calories and macros for like a month or two is a great idea for everybody. You can learn a lot about your diet and optimize it based on the new found information without making dramatic changes.
