For anyone who is into drama as opposed to action--@MattVIP I'm looking at you--Big Little Lies was the best 7 hours of television I have ever watched. Every actress deserved an award, the guys and the kids were also great, and the dialogue and interpersonal tension was off the charts. It's not an easy watch, the themes are domestic violence, bullying, and bitter fighting with other parents. But it was absolutely tremendous.

mattusko: AMERICAN GODS !!!

Wowwwww this looks incredible! Going to watch this tonight!

The main actor used to be on Hollyoaks or something and I always thought he was pretty terrible at acting but he looks great here.

Yeah he was on Hollyoaks many moons ago but have seen him in The 100 since and he seems like a decent actor now for sure. This series looks interesting. Has anyone watched Jamestown yet?

Watched episode one of Jamestown, seems OK so far, kind of interesting. Seems that one of the characters was modelled on Ned Stark by looks and accent anyway. Thought Sean Bean was in it for a brief moment Laugh

I'm 3 episodes in on this. Bit slow to begin with but getting interesting and definitely keep wanting to watch the next episode. The cast is really good, didn't realise Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman were in it. A few other recognisable actors too.

I had some minor health issues recently, that made it kinda difficult to do anything even remotely challenging so I took an easy way out and rewatched some of the shows that I liked in the past (namely Daredevil in anticipation of the Defenders that will hit Netflix this summer). I haven't missed your recommendation @CycleVancouver and I'm definitely going to check Big Little Lies out. "American Gods" is looking very promising too, I love Ian McShane.

Finished Designated Survivor, thought that was pretty good!

Started watching 13 Reasons Why after all the hype. What a load of shit! Stupid show

My last binge. I feel like both the trailer and the premise were better than the show itself, but I still recommend it. It's fun and whacky. Also, Alison Brie is the best.

GLOW is on my list, though I'm going in with mild expectations. I just finished Handmaid's Tale, pretty good, great in parts, but since they're planning on seasons 2+, they did up the ending in a kinda hokey way. But tbh, the book is shite, and as a naturalized Canadian, I know I'm risking my papers by saying that aloud.

Yeh its on my never ending list as well, from trailer looks like it could have that Whip It feel to it.

yeah I started it but quit after 4-5 episodes. I didn't think it was terrible, but there was one rally stupid plot point I couldn't get over. (Basically the premise of the whole show lol)

"Preacher" is back for the second season. It's not the best show ever made, it's almost all style and not that much substance, but it's also fun and pulpy. A great guilty pleasure kinda thing provided that you don't mind the ultra-violence. Oh, and the first season contained one of the most powerful quotes in TV history as far as I'm concerned, which is enough to prize me in for at least two-three seasons.

I LOVED Glow. Crushed it in 2 days. Every single episode had at least one genuine LOL moment.

Suits and Game of Thrones are coming back this week which makes me a happy camper. I'm not the biggest "Song of Ice and Fire" fan in the world, I actually loathe books four and five, but I like the world overall and I'm anxious to see where showrunners take the series now that they are on their own.
