I like pretty much all of those though not equally. I love garlic and spinach, I like nuts very much (you can't really call yourself a poker player if you don't), I'm fine with carrots and I do consume a fair bit of soy products (tofu, tempeh, TVP, soy milk) but oddly enough I don't think I've ever tried soy in the bean form.

As far as healthy food that I absolutely love goes, I'd add cruciferous vegetables to the mix, particularly broccoli and cauliflower (I don't eat kale that often and it requires some work to make it taste good but it also deserves the spot on the list).

My diet basically consists of beans (black, red, pinto and chickpeas), green veggies (mostly spinach and broccoli but anything goes), grains (rice and some pasta) and soy products. I have a sweet tooth and I like a bunch of processed crap like cookies, candies, and soda but I try to keep those to a minimum.

Yeap, I also have a sweeth tooth but I should have most kinds of veg or grains to keep healthy. I will balance my diet..

@MattVIP Edamame is soy beans, if you've ever tried them at a Japanese restaurant.

I think you live in the States? There's a vegan sausage called Field Roast. Their smoked apple sage is tremendous. (Other ones not as much.)

@CycleVancouver I wish! There are so many vegan options available in US that I don't have access too. I'd kill to have some of that beyond meat stuff (huge fan of convenient food). I'm pretty sure I can get my hands on edamame though so I'll definitely try that in the near future.

Wishing for vegan options, sure. Wishing to live in the States? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeks.

btw I kinda think edamame is pretty overrated, and like you, I get enough soy that I prefer to diversify my beans and pulses. But people order it in a restaurant, it's something healthful to nosh on if you're starved and can't wait for your sushi.
