Your Favorite Movie/TV Show Scenes

Posted 7 years agoEdited 7 years ago

Seeing as movies and tv shows seem to be the favorite pastime of most of the forum members here's the thread you can post your favorite scenes in. Remember about SPOILER WARNINGS when applicable!

Here's one of my favorite scenes in recent years from the movie Ex Machina. While it doesn't spoil the story it probably loses some value when taken out of context. In any case, enjoy!

Pita's kidnapping in Man on Fire. Dakota fanning is amazing in this film. Best child actor ever! From the start of this film to this point, the build up of the relationship between these two just makes this whole scene so emotional, love it.

Amazing scene. Man on Fire was a damn good movie. I was expecting an easy action flick when I first saw it and I got a lot of quality drama out of the deal (2004 was a great year of action-drama given that Collateral also came out then).

This scene from the movie Whiplash is pure genius and pure tension. If you ever had a crazy demanding teacher you can probably relate to this at least in part even if you haven't seen the movie.

Have only just watched that clip, seems brutal! Whats the film like overall? Looks pretty good.

The film is about many many things, but the main theme is following one's passion at all cost so it's brutal at times and this scene was one of the most severe examples of that.

Basically, if you ever had a tyrannic teacher who was also insanely smart you'll be able to really get into this movie. I highly recommend it.

I hope I look this ripped when am 61. Saw La La Land the other day, think this is still Chazelle's best film, cant stop listening to the Whiplash soundtrack at the moment.

Holly shit that's a great scene. John Goodman is an absolute beast.

This is just one of the many great scenes from one of the best movies I've ever seen:
