Blaze v anon, not much of info, a bit aggro but no showdowns as yet.

I thought this was interesting because I expect a lot of folds on the flop but I rarely slowplay and would raise quad Q here versus this lot.

Flop: Interesting my raise got called but I do need to take into consideration the OR was from MP.

Turn: This was an experiment bet. I saw Komododragonjesus use it a few times with big draws on tricky boards so I gave it a go. Think t should be bigger though but no experience of this.

River: Tricky, I think. unsure whether to keep the aggression going and just ship it or make a small raise and fold. But, given I have no info I thought the small raise was a bit meh, so it's ship it or call.

What do you guys think? I liked this one.

Wrong forum Wink

I probablyyyyyyyyy call with no info. It may be slightly higher EV to shove but without info I don't know if villain can call with flushes.

Ah just saw the turn was pot also.... Yeah not shipping ever now unless villain is a huge fish.

How the hell did I manage that!? Doh!

Vote for

a) Long day
b)Tired
c) Fish
d) Shoulda gone to Specsavers
e) All of the above

I did just call but tanked, it was very tempting until that river.
I find It actually quite difficult to set it up for the big river shove only to have to put the brakes on and sometimes even fold.

Villain showed J9ss which kinda made sense.

Thank you again.

Wow it's far too early for me. I was reading through the hand thinking "What the hell are you doing?!?!" and then when I read you called on that river I was just in shock. Then I realised there was an 8 on the flop. Things are starting mo make much more sense now lol.

Pre: Perfect.

Flop: Interesting raise, I'm not 100% sure on it since you will end up getting a huge amounts of folds but it does allow you to play for stacks if villain has a hand to continue with. It's definitely not bad to raise, and overall there's a very good chance it has a higher EV than flat calling so wp.

Turn: I like it, after villain calls flop there is a great chance he will be continuing on the turn so I love the large sizing.

River: Really interesting spot. I'm torn between jamming and calling here. If you're beat it is almost certainly going to be by a hand like AQ or AA, and there is a reasonably high chance that villain will be reraising flop with AQ. AA however does make a lot of sense for this line as villains can't seem to fold this hand post flop very often. Flush draws are going to make up a reasonable amount of villains range here, but he shouldn't be continuing with a lot of these to your large turn bet. I would assume that most villains are folding naked flush draws without pairs there a reasonable % of the time. I think I probably end up clicking call reluctantly and then feel like a nit when he tables the flush.
