Pool Update

In last 7 days we had a team match, which we won 4:2, I won my games and i still have 100% succes of my matches in 2nd regional division. I also attend tournament on Sunday where players from 1st, 2nd and 3rd regional divisious were allowed to play. We were 35 and I lost semifinal and finished 3.-4. Buy in for this tournament was 7.5e for players from 2nd and 3rd division and 10e for players from 1st division. The prize for 3-4 place was 35e.

WEEEEE, my 1st cashout in Pool tournament!

Next Moday we have 1st away game this season and i am quite confident that we can crush them. I hope i can hold my 100% succes.

I only have really shity pictures fromm pool. I'll post one and I will ask my wife to do some better pictures for the future

How much drinking goes on at these places?

We Dutchmen love our alcoholic beverages, so my guess is plenty

I am in the team with 5 English guys. So I think, you can now see how our league games look like. Maybe better to say how does it look after the winning game.

live poker update

I played 5h session last Thursday, it was a good game, i felt good but it was such a swingy time. I finished up 40e which is small profit but always better than end in loss. I had a funny hand as well, I ended in 3way AI preflop with AA against AA and KK. lucky for us Aces hold crazy right?:D

For now this is it. I am sure i wont play next mont, because i am going to Mexico for 3 week to finally enjoy real summer.

Can you describe the 3 worst players in the games? Obviously don't say their names (you can but just encase they read) but like describe the look of them, ages, playing styles, leaks and so on....

Hello everyone.

Its been a 3 months from my last stop here. Its kind of shame that I let this blog die, but to be honest I don't play poker anymore. (My wife is super happy). Since my last Live cash game I didn't play single hand of poker.

My main reason why I don't play poker anymore is TIME and PRIORITIES. I really don't have much time. Not doing a lot of overtimes or something like that but if i have a free time I play Pool or having a good time with my wife.

But guys, I must say I miss poker a lot. I am missing also the extra money I was able to earn. Not bcs, I don't have money, but it was nice to have some extra money just for me. My poker money was my secret and my wife never knows how much I earn/spend etc. Also she was always nicely surprised when I took her out for non standard dinner or something similar and didn't touch any of our credit cards :D:D

I am still Living in Amsterdam. My work/carrier is moving in GOOD direction and I cant complain. We decided to buy apartment in Amsterdam as well and stay for couple more years. YAY.

And now get back to things why I came here after such a long time. I would like to start playing poker again. Not big amounts of hours, just couple in a week and slowly build up.

ATM I don't know what to play where to play. Probably I will stick to poker room with RB instead of Stars. Or maybe not. I will decide later once I will be ready to take an action and start.

What room for PLO would you recommend? I would like to start at plo5/plo10 and make my way up. What I am looking for is good trafic in the evenings, sometimes during the weekends. I will start wit playing 4-6 tables. Also some extra RB would be nice. Client for MAC is mandatory.

Also I am in for review, but give me two/free weeks

With Mac I have no idea what works or not.

At lower stakes there is traffic for few tables at all the bigger networks. MPN reduced the rake so that is one good option, I haven't checked what is the status of ipoker rake/vip program.

Rake is crucial at PLO5/PLO10. What is the rake taken and how much you will get back? Even a huge rakeback doesn't do you good if the initial rake is a lot higher.

Sooooooo, Installed StanJames yesterday. And i couldn't find OMAHA games there. HEEEEELP. now i am not sure if i self excluded myself from games or whats going on. I will install BV or contact support today and I hope they have some good news for me.

@Jon-PokerVIP They told me its because I have a Mac client and flash its not supported so i can not play omaha games. And they confirm that i did not exclude myself from any games.

I don't get it how playing with 4 cards is impossible for soft/hardware but with 2 cards it's fine. Although I am not a coder, but still...

@Kyyberi super weird for me as well. And they just tell me this as a fact. when I told them that i will play on different room they were like: "ok, good bye". Maybe i will try to google some info about it, but thats for later.

For now i will play on PS. What i remember from past plo25 is something where people start to get better. So i will aim to move somewhere else once i will be confident at plo10.

I also played 1st session after deposit. I played 5 hands at plo5 and stacked one guy.

I was on SB. 100bb.
Preflop: UTG limp, CO raised pot, I re-raised pot with AhAcKh3c. UTG call, CO call
Flop: 9h7h2h. I checked. UTG bet pot, CO fold, I reraise pot (utg ai), UTG call and shows AcTh6h6c


Btw, there is only PT4 available for mac as a tracking software, which I need to buy, bcs i have only HM2. Now i am thinking if it wont be much easier to play poker on my old Windows machine
