where to start :)

Hi guys new to poker vip, 2015 was a year i took poker seriously, grinding 10nl 20nl i started on stars with $180 in january and in december i withdrew $1800.

I withdrew for these reasons, i hit a very bad patch, not running well, tilting a little and chasing my money. so i withdrew put the money to use and paid for a a trip to vegas which needed paying of. I thought a break would be good and i could come back a month later with a fresh start.

so here i am hoping any of you guys can recommend me a good site for a player like my self, as i felt stars had far to many regs.

Also do you think micros are worth the time?

thanks in advance
jason

Oh sweet just replied to your intro post!

Yeh the micros are deffs worth it - we all have to start/restart somewhere right?

Main thing is your attitude, work ethic and how you study. If you have these on point then you will go far!

Have you been to Vegas yet?

Yeh it does limit you a fair bit however our resident Aussie @MinerBoy23 will be able to help shine some light on this.

@MinerBoy23 is Boyle still the best bet here?

G'day guys. I've created accounts through Boyle and Bet Victor through PokerVIP and I can definitely say I prefer Boyle's software and the games. Rakeback is also excellent.

However there is and always will be the clash of peak times in southern hemisphere v Europe so both sites still have the issue of lack of tables/players at times. Depends when you really like to get your grind on. On weekends when I have a chance to get more play in, unfortunately our afternoons over here seem to align with the quietest periods on these sites. However, if you like to grind late in the evening and/or in to the wee hours of the morning, then the action is there.

If you can ignore the obvious rakeback benefits that can be gained through PokerVIP and just want plenty of players and tables at all times, then Poker Stars is still the solid bet.
