Should we be shoving this in to the raise from the big stack? I would def shove with 17bb+ just felt we didnt have enough fold equity with only 15bb to the big stack.... Obviously result would have been nice.

Ran what I felt was pretty realistic calling ranges to our shove into ICMIZER and it seemed super close... Maybe worth the risk when we only have 15bb

If the opener is active then yes it is pretty close and i probably go with it. If not then i would fold

AK vs HUGE river shove

Just had this hand and it obviously made me sick. My reasoning behind it was this hand that happened two hands before.

Previous hand with Villain involved

My reasoning is that a player who makes this terrible play is capable of making big bluffs and getting way outta line.

However is this not the right logic to use?

Maybe its more realistic to think that he wouldn't be at the level of competence to realise that this looks very bluffy to shove twice pot on river because I don't believe he is doing this for value. So therefore I should have made the conclusion that he only does this when he has it...?

Interested to hear thoughts on what other players would do faced with this decision against some crazy player.
