Poker first.
OPL hasn't been going as well as I hoped. Missed a few tournaments, had some run bad then some play bad. I did accumulate some points though and started April with a win so I'm on 665 points. Put's me about 6th on the leaderboard.
Cash play has been almost non existent. I just can't seem to combine cash games and MTTs. I'm ok with that. OPL will be over soon so I look forward to getting back to it.
All in all I'm up over $800 since the start of the year (from both cash and MTTs). I had a little target in my head of making $1000 from poker this year so I should smash that. It's certainly nice knowing I can make a little money from something I enjoy so much.
Gym/Fitness/Diet.
Hmm what can I say. A few issues since the hernia, followed by 2 weeks being ill, means I hit the gym about 3 times over the whole month. And when I'm not training my diet goes to shit (I'm weird like that, can't do one without the other). So strength, fitness and muscle mass down, bodyfat up.
Other stuff.
March, what with kids birthdays and needing a new car, was not a good month financially. By hey, new car
Couldn't bring myself to sell the bike, oops.
Found a place to live. Moving mid May, lots to do in the meantime.
April goals...
Finish the OPL in the top 3. It'll take at least another win and some more top 4 finishes but it's possible.
Move up to 10NL. As soon as the OPL is finished I'm taking the shot. Can't wait.
Back to the gym, and running.
Eat better, drink less.
Read lots.
Weather is warming up. Days are getting longer. Let's make this a good month.
