Had my first lesson with the mighty
@Scrubx which in the end ran into 2 hours, but we were having fun so that's all good. A nice relaxed but focused atmosphere and a new experience.
Learned a few things I hadn't even heard of already so that bodes well for later. We played 2 tabs of speed 5 and got into what felt like really tough spots ever y 2nd hand, it wasn't, it just felt like it.
Of course the first time I play a session on my own I got smashed by a maniac for like 5BI and he only started with 1.xx euro! Insane stuff, all in 45cc v my AQcc and hitting it like a boss, or the 43 hitting 33J v my AA and all that fun stuff. Apart from the losing part it was a fun game.
I'm thinking I can earn enough rakeback monthly to pay for a lesson or 2; if so I'll do it for a while as 4 or 5 lessons are a good start but I would like to go further with it now.
So, like me, get a coach if like you think you're winning less than you feel you can and being self taught is hard going. Obviously biased but I can recommend Scrubx, he's professional, nice, knows his stuff and he isn't expensive either.
Embrace the variance guys and gals, embrace that variance!
