I know this guy booked a huge win but i wonder if he regrets it now? $150k i think he won is a load of money but after 3 years it will be basically gone now and he might not have used it properly. together won 673e, spent about 70e on BuyIns today and finished awesome 600e in profit for the day. super happy about it. Now it is sure that I will play WPT Amsterdam side event.
Have you been grinding mtts for a long time? If not I can say get ready for extreme variance and it can and will sometimes take months to make one final table... But on the upside sometimes you make final tables all the time
This is why I don't play at stars special tournaments too often, the variance is just too damn extreme in 5k+ fields for me. 3k registrants is like the upper limit most of the time ^^

Well it depends, I don't play them very often, but from time to time I have a mood to play some. (during last 7-8 years) I know that mtts can be very risky business and I accept the variance as it is. When I play mtts I try to play fields under 500 players. So it doesn't take very long time to finish.
Yeah ^^ I think fields around 300 players are perfect... Take about six to eight hours to complete. Miss the days when prima had way more tournament players. Now it's like 40-120 players per tournament and low guarantees

Solid result man and unlucky on not taking it down. I have been running the same man always coming 3rd and just cant seem to get there.
Yesterday I have no luck and didnt win anything. Because my FDB is over in few days I've decided to change a room again.
During my play on SJ (~50days) I was able to build BR from 500e to 1300e. I was loser at the tables, running under ev (yeaaaah crying) and only thanks to RB and lucky mtts bink(s) I was able to win some money. btw: I must say that MTTs on StanJames are very friendly and beatable. Maybe I will come back later to play a bit more there.
My next Stop will be PartyPoker. I will play there some low stakas CG, lowstakes trnys, and satelites to some WPT Amsterdam events. Will deposit 500e again and maybe after WPT i'll be able to withdraw something.
