The biggest thing that happened was probably me moving places back to my parents house from my own flat. I will stay here until i got a spot at an university.
The other big thing that happened was a direct influence to my bankroll.
I had the chance to play and stream for the Cash Game Festival. It was basically a week of advertisement for a thing that happens in eastern europe. They asked a few streamers to stream on certain sites and gave them cash for doing so.
Also there was a 6max table each day monday to friday where the winner would advance to the final on saturday, and the winner there won a 2000€ package to the festival. I busted out 2nd nuts vs nuts in the final as 2nd in chips with 3 left. Felt so sick to be so close and still not win. The package wouldve meant the world to me, and i havent been that tilted in my whole life about not winning something. Anyway, my rational mind is strong and convinced my feelings that it is of no use to being mad at the world. Did i misplay the hand given actions and structure? Probably. But i cant be mad about that. In the end it was a tournament environment strategy wise, and i suck at tournaments as i have been a cashplayer my whole life. I placed far better than i probably would have deserved, so i got to be proud of that, even if its a winner takes all and i would have prefered not qualifying instead of being so close. This will probably still haunt me years to come.
BUT i also want to try to use this negative experience as fuel to my motivation. I have set myself a goal:
If i dont manage to qualify myself for the festival next year i want to be able to finance the same package worth 2000€ for me and my girlfriend from my poker earnings until then without this damaging my bankroll.
Lets see if i can do it.
The cool thing about this whole thing was, that everything was a freeroll, and i still made a ton of money just by streaming for them a few times.
In the end i made roughly 300€ through this whole thing, so i cant really be mad, right?
Will add that money to my BV roll as soon as it is cashed out to my bank account.
That is the reason why this post doesnt have a "current bankroll" section, as i will add that as soon as i deposited the money i won from the event.
Looking forward to pick up my grind again after the break because of moving places!
