Haha yeah, having a child can be a real mix of emotions but one of the most rewarding things you can ever do in life.

I'm sure you will be a great dad, all the best to you and your girlfriend!

I'm back from work (have been for 2 weeks now) and i've not played any poker! I have 2 weeks left so i need to start grinding!! I'm back home at my parents for the 2 weeks so i'll be grinding on her laptop which means no HUD

I'll try get a screen shot of my BR every Monday instead

Right now my BR is at £150. If I can get to £180 I'll take a shot at 10NL.

First day back was terrible. Most of it was bad play so I need to read up and look at some of the terrible decisions I made before playing tomorrow!! Happy with playing 2k hands, that will be the minimum target for each day.

I've lost 11 Bi's in 2 days!! The worst sessions i've ever had!! I lost 5 Bi in 125 hands!! been running and playing bad! Would be good if I had my HUD so i could review the sessions a lot easier! Going to stop for the day! Volume is where I want it to be

Because I can only play on my phone on the weekends I've decided to start playing tournaments on sky poker. I'll update you at the end of the day on how it went.

Ha the smell of smoke makes most people boak buddy! It is a bad smell like the cigarette on finger smell is completely gross but i do like the smell when its actually being smoked.

Sky tournis on a weekend sound like a solid idea all you have to do now is run that little bit better.

I was up to 10nl for a while on ipoker but decided to move after the rake changes. As I didn't want to wait to play while my money withdrew I stuck £100 of it on Stars to mess with (Pretty much all gone now) and put the other 200 on BV, currently have like 150 left which sucks. Ran super bad right from the off at 10nl and was forced to drop down to 4nl as I wasn't rolled for 10nl. Really wish I had waited and put it all on now, just to give me a bit more to play with so I didn't have to drop down!

Ah well, all is good, life is good so can't complain too much!

I had to take a 20 min break today after this hand, looking back i could have maybe C-bet the dry flop, I thought i could push him off a small PP on the river, no such luck when he holds the nuts

On a more posative note i've had a really good run today, only losing 1 flip. I've been dealt about 20 AA, AK and JJ in the space of an hour!

Yeah I think once we don't cbet the flop, I'm happy to give up river (they may even check behind AQ), since our hand is pretty face up so we cant get many folds.

I tried not looking at my balance today, i even shifted my Ipoker program to below the start bar, but at the end of the session it had moved back up!! I seen that I was 2 Bi up today, would have been more had i not tilted towards the end! Good day all in all! Time for the pub to watch the Celtic game! (beer).

Should have bet bigger on the river there imo, he put you on AK imo.

How did operation DLAMBR go? How did you feel going into each grind session too?

Lol I don't think he put me on anything, he called my 3-bet with T5s!!

Tbh the operation didn't work, i kept looking by accident, and it was always an accident. I need to try harder next time to not look look!!

Well that's me back at work for another month. I've started reading "the mental game of poker" which should keep me entertained for the trip. I also Brough "the poker blue print. I'll let you know how the books are. I forgot to bring my notepad which I fill in with stuff I want to remember or seems very important from the poker books I read. I might just start a new one.

Anyway. I'll speak again in a month (maybe sooner with updates or pictures.

I've only read about a quarter of the mental game of poker and I think it's brilliant. It seems like a book you need to have on you all the time so you can reference it.

I'm thinking of getting this Lenovo think pad 1440. Only problem is it doesn't have a hdmi outlet, which I would like to connect to my TV or another monitor.

What do you guys think?
