Played 2 sessions today.
Afternoon was only about 30min because i got an emergency-work call. I played well I guess, results were bad due to 1 hand you can find in the HH-Forum

Evening-Session was good, played for 2 hours and about 500 hands

After the incident in the afternoon where I bluffed off a stack I did not care at all about the red line and only tried to stab at pots that obviously nobody wanted or to value bet. I really do not like to play this way because it is very very unbalanced and can be exploited in higher levels. On the other hand it seems to be the way to play these levels.

Work sucks Sad

Winning sessions are always good no matter how small the win or the session is!

How are you feeling about your game in general overall?
Posted 7 years ago
I feel as if I have not learned anything in the last 9 month..

afternoon session:

1,5 hours, 500 hands, -34BB/100

I stopped after 1,5 hours because i actually have no fun playing at all any more...I cant get my red line under controll. I have 0 fold equity and when I stop barelling they play me out of the pot with their 3rd pair and when i keep barelling they f*** me with a weird straight or something.

my over all graph looks like the funnel of death....

for every dollar I win at showdown I lose one at non show down.
I had a very good run between 10k and 22k but that was obviously just an upswing because i got great hands... other than that I am a losing player. So I am not happy with my play at all

You're not a losing player at all! The graph shows it! Are you getting good rakeback and other promos on top of that as well?

Maybe try a different variant for a couple k hands? Go full ring instead of 6 max for example? Change it up for a little bit.

And PLEEEEEASE turn off the showdown/non showdown winnings. I was guilty of becoming a slave to redline when I played cash, it really doesn't matter that much at the minute.

I can tell you have the drive and the commitment to do it, and you're graph is in the green, which the VAST majority of players can't say!

@AshVIP thanks for the reply... it helped me to fall asleap yesterday...

playing today showed again that I suck
2hours, 530hands -16BB/100

I had my last 2 winning sessions on the 5th and 6th of september.
since then I feel as if they see my cards... When I have it they fold. When I semibluff they call me down relentlessly and I hit nothing. check raising does not work. 3 betting does not work. cbetting does not work....

you are perfectly right that i made some money. My roll at bet365 is at 95€ (I started with 50) If I play enough I will clear the 50 bonus and earn rakeback of about 20 by the 10th of october. but thats not why i am here.I want a solid winrate. I know that the playerpool at Bet365 is the worst. Yet i cannot win constantly. I dedicate alot of time to poker but I have the feeling that nothing changes.

well fuck this... I am not here to wine... I will prepare for the next session and will get back on track.
I will keep posting hands in order to get your feedback
I will improve to a regular winning player
I will stay positiv
I will win

Just by thinking as positively as you are you are winning; it may not feel like it yet but you are way ahead of the opposition.
I have had a few batterings lately to. I beat my limit (nl2 for now) comfortably, but that didn't stop me losing 7 buy ins in a session and 4 buyins the session before that.
Results aren't what it's about at these low limits as you have no doubt heard before, it's all about the game and mindset improvement, which, in my opinion is the biggest stumbling block at micro stakes, particularly for newer players who haven't quite grasped how much variance really has.

Just keep doing what you're doing in my opinion and you'll be just fine.

Have fun.

Afternoonsession

played well, of course session was negative...

It seems that i have lost my instincts regarding aggro players. I looked them up with reasonable hands (TPTK, nice blockers, in spots where FD or SD missed) and they had AA, KK ...

got preflop AA killed by JJ

i rarely to never find myselfe in spots where i can extract value from fishes or have massive hands that get a payout....

as handreviewing show that I do not make too many mistakes I only can hope that I will find myselfe in better spots in the future

4 hours grind on Saturday

lets see what the review says....

Hey man, what's your screen name on Bet365?

@jongordon84 FGSpaceLord
Posted 7 years ago
Lol obvious I guess.

Does Bet365 share the player pool with the other iPoker sites or are they exclusive? Just thought I would recognise your screen name if it did.
Posted 7 years ago
Smile I have no idea

but i am only there until the 10th of Oktober... then my first deposit bonus should be cleared and i will try another site
Posted 7 years ago
Bet365 do share the player pool but also do have their own exclusive tables, which get quite busy!

I could puke sooo much... why is is this always happening...

i dont know...I really played a nice session. I was concentrated and focussed... and in the end my AA got wrecked by a moron calling a 3bet with JQo and hitting his 2pair on the turn.

so 2 hours and -2BB/100

Afternoon session
2 hours, 600 hands, +50BB/100

yes finally a nice session.

3rd session in a row where i played good.
3 sessions ago I had a cathartic experience where I got wrecked by 72o. from that moment on I focussed much better on the game.

reviewing september showed that I tilted massivly. I am too passive and did not even manage to stay positiv on VPIP=true

This session i focussed on taking down more uncontested spots. Additionally there were some nice fish that wanted to donate some money. Aditionally I dodged some difficult spots. I managed to let go of 1pair hands better.

over all i am at +1,5BB/100

Evening session.

3,5 hours 1000 hands +2,53BB/100

session started very interesting. I could only find seats on reg-infested tables. I played very good. It is easier for me to be agressive against better players as they tend to understand what a raise or 3 bet could mean.

unfortunatly I value owned myself alot. so i found myselfe down 150BB after 200 hands. But I kept playing, did not loose my mind and made some good pots. I will post some hands in the HH Review section because I am not sure If I played them correctly.

October is nice... very nice Smile

Afternoon session
2,5 hours, 680 hands +30BB/100

poker is infinitly easier when you run good. I am above the EV line for the first time in my pokerlife. This does not safe me from running into terrible cooler-spots though... I definitly know now that the EV-line is not really showing if you are lucky or not...

I achieved my most important goal: I stayed agressive Smile Most of my winnings come from middleish pots. I hope the golden oktober keeps going in this direction!

Evening session

2 hours, 558 hands +47BB/100 Smile

It is a very good feeling.

I can only repeat myself... Agression is the key. I take down lots and lots of small and medium siced potts and even got some bigger bluffs through... (2 examples below)

Furthermore I changed how i mark my opponents. I use more colours to differentiate between tight regs, good regs, fish and aggrofish. I adjust betting patterns and calling tendencies accordingly.

The whole September I did not have 2 positive sessions in a row. Now I had 6 Smile

overall i am at 2,7BB/100 after 37000 hands

Wow what an afternoon session.

I am probably the proudest of myselfe pokerwise that I have ever been.

Result: 0 Smile

I played for about 2,5 hours, 700 hands and was perfectly break even.

I am so happy because I got my shit together after I ran soooo bad (my AA got wrecked again... I cant believe how often this happened... I checked and I lost 2/3 of my AA against KK) I also found my redline plummeting again. I was nonshowdown down over 150bb. over all 200 down.

But I stayed calm and kept playing. I already wrote 4 weeks ago that I know that I beat 4NL on Bet365 and so I did. and how I did. I ran up my red line to -50 BB and my blue to +50. I really would like to show you the graph but unfortunatly I cannot upload any pictures (neither explorer nor firefox)

Reviewing my most important hands I still made big mistakes. Especially against tight openers I did not check their stats and 3bet or 4bet whith no need. I also tend to bet on the river where I only get called by better - greedy :-).

Quick noon session before I am off to work...

Problems with Bet365 so I played on Bwin.

1 hour, 409 hands and +35,88BB

I am not very happy with the session. I really tried to focus on high agression. At one point my nonshowdown was at 50BB up, but it ended on 10up. Thats frustrating because my big win comes from a missed bluff. Yes you read correctly I tried to bluff.. villain called my shove and i rivered a 2outer.

I also called down way to much. At the moment i see behind every c/r a bluff - of course this comes because I am focussing alot on c/r spots. So i have to be more carefull when calling down villains. (although i only did that with high aggro villains)

I hope that Bet365 works properly in the evening, I have to clear a bit more than 300 Points in the next 5 days to get my last 7,5 bonus money Smile
