Played for a few hours tonight and won abt 1.5 buyins! Mainly thanks to dbl up sngs wud ya believe! The cash on sky was really slow and reg infested so I jumped into 4 dbl ups and won 3! Anybody ever play these..?? A lot of luck involved but the general standard is poor so plenty value..........

Didnt play last night as we are going to a Wedding on sat so the Mrs dragged me round every friggin Miss Selfridge in the north east looking for a pissin dress!!!

Just had a quick 90 min session and finished up just under a buyin! Very swingy session as I got involved in 3 big pots with imo the best 20nl reg on Sky poker! He is super aggro and puts you to the test all the time! I called his btn v sb 3 bets twice with AJs and A10s and flopped flush draws both times! He made sizeable cbets so i shoved on him both times! I would not normally do this at 20nl but he is so aggro i think it is def profitable with decent equity if he calls! Just so happens he had KK and QQQ both times and i BINKED!! This put him on monkey tilt slating me in chat etc! So not long after we inevitably got it in again when i shoved an A high flop with AK and he snapped with AJ! He binked a J on the river! I cant really grumble but wud hav been so sweet to hold

After my downswing last week its just nice to book a few winning sessions in a row! Bankroll is slowly climbing back up and sitting around 780!

I am just outside the top 200 for August and desperate to pinch some free money haha! But with a busy weekend it cud be a long Sunday

Thats all for now I have set a few goals for September but will post them at the vweekend! Gl people!

£780 at 20nl? Don't fancy moving up to 50nl yet Jeff? I remeber the last time i was playing 50nl on sky, twas pretty soft

Haha don't encourage me Harvie I usually play under rolled if anything! Sky have 30nl and 40nl too which is great but I'm trying to stick to a 30 buyin rule! So start back at 30nl when reach £900 then 40nl at £1200 etc!

Didn't play much at all over weekend due to Wedding etc and ended up missing out on top 200 by 100 points! What a donut haha! The 1 session I did play I won a cpl buyins so roll is sat at like £820! Rakeback doesn't go get paid til abt the 5th so that is still to go on!

I planned to make some hand goals etc this month and really trying and push my volume but then I remembered I go on Holiday on the 18th for 2 weeks haha!

I have created a Bet victor account which is all good to go but I think I'll wait til I come back to try and take full advantage of the welcome bonus!

So think I'll just stick with sky until the 18th and try and get myself comfortably over 30 buyins at 30nl so I can really grind 30nl when I get back!

Plan with bet victor is to deposit £350 and start at 10nl and grind it up! So should hav the best of both worlds over the two sites!

Haha it felt bloody great Jon for the 4 days it lasted!! Naa but no big deal I'm only abt £50 down from it now so gonna breeze back past it shortly

I really need to get out of the habit of tracking profit/br all the time and get some volume goals set! Really gonna concentrate on this when I get back from holiday! As you keep saying Jon volume = profit

Not much to report as have played very little the last couple of days! I have however developed a graph to track my progress on Sky! Special thanks to Bassy and Jon for that

Will hopefully make this log a bit more interesting! I have also been thru the hand histories on my last session to get a more accurate estimate of hands per hour! I knew Sky was the fastest software i have played on but I am consistently getting 100 hands per hour on reg tables! The norm is apparently 80 so that is huge when your looking at total volume/profit! Just thought this would interest some of you stat guys

Just played 600 hands or so and ran AKs into AA twice and an open ended straight flush draw got called in two spots with a higher flush draw AND bottom two! BRICKED obvs! Im going back to pool

Didnt play yesterday as thought i would work on plugging some leaks due to this mini downswing! I think I have identified a few quite major leaks!

The first is quite simply trying to run before I can walk! I have been increasing the no. of tables played and stakes at the same time! Looking back this just seems ridiculous! Im going back to 4 tables and 20nl so I can really concentrate on playing my A game! I have never been a volume whore but reading Jon etcs blog its easy to get carried away! Which i defo have been!

The second is game selection! The games on sky are rammed with regs thru the week and a fish fest on weekends! So im goin to play majority of volume on weekends! Obv need to come up with something that still lets me play thru the week but not sure yet! Plenty of options tho!

Last is taking the initiative and playing more agressively pre! I have found i am massively under valueing hands pre e.g. wouldnt dream of 5 bet shoving AKo! From watching numerous vids this is a big leak for me!

These might sound very obv but until you look closely at your game they are easy to do!

Also gonna up volume in Oct but by playing more hours rather than tables!

I am now graphing my progress but its not worth posting yet!

Jumped in for another hour and won a buyin! Pretty sure this is my biggest winning day so far +£105.00!

Hey guys! Havent updated as came down with Man flu late on Sunday and it hit me for six! Literally been going to work then straight to bed! Feeling a little bit better today so just recorded my leakfinder vid for Jon to tear to bits ha! I go on holiday tomo for 2 weeks all inclusive so will be quiet on here! Turkey of all places mate! Group of about 10 private hotels on Lara Beach! I'm at the Limak Lara on my last day and can't praise it enough!

Jealous! Never been but the food always looks amazing and so does the tea (I'm a big tea lover).
