Its probably good advice but I dont think I will ever move down, I cant see losing x BI at 25 and winning x BI at 10 and still being behind will change much.
I honestly feel that I am at the right level, where I play NL25 probably plays like 10NL at other sites, and I honestly look at the player pool and dont see that they are any better a player than me, I just have to keep going, keep trying to improve and wait it out. I notice things that I think are faults with other players, not saying I havent got plenty either, I just think that I am at the right level for me at this site.

So I have been looking over my database albeit a limited sample size I guess.
I looked at blind play and I am doing better in the sb than the big blind. In the sb I am losing -7.31 bb/100 and in the bb I am losing 49.14 bb/100, is that shocking or what is standard for big blind play as I know you probably have to lose in the bb overall. Maybe I do better in the sb because I mostly 3 bet, I don't really have a calling range in the small blind, whereas I am probably not 3 betting enough in the big blind.

So I looked at 3 bet pots also, and I do so much better when I am the 3 bettor, I am showing a profit of 11 BI when I am the 3 bettor but a loss of 7 BI when I call 3 bets. My stats show that I call 3 bets 31% of the time, fold 58% of the time and 4 bet 11% of the time, I don't know how this measures up to others stats? But definitely seems better to be the aggressor in 3 bet pots so maybe something I should think about in future. I am also showing profits when I 4 bet so thats good too.

I am not sure what other stats to look up as yet any ideas anyone?

What to do with JJ facing a 4 bet after I 3 bet? Poker Snowie recommends jam when its say sb v co but I am sure Snowie is for higher level games as at my limit NL25 stacking off with JJ preflop I think is a no no. I almost think facing the 4 bet with JJ could be a fold as calling is pants too, as often times an overcard comes on the flop and if its a low board you lose a fair chunk of your stack too and calling for set value seems tight in terms of getting the right odds as you dont always get stacks when you hit if they have either AK or were bluff 4 betting , so as weak as it sound I feel that folding could even be best at this limit, any thoughts welcome.

Thats it for now, I am still plodding along not really getting anywhere and still behind overall to the tune of 10 or so BI, but onwards and upwards we go.

It is certainly not shocking as the sb is half the size of a bb so it should always be 'better' in that sense.

Just look at your pealing, 3b and 5b ranges and the truth will become known!

if you are not sure about your play with JJ then why do you 3bet ?
and when you dont 3bet JJ then I`m sure you are a losing player @25
(I know its all about position and stacksize and info on villain) but if you ask these questions and then say yourself that you are struglling then maybe a step down and reevaluate is the play here ???

NB. I myself play most of my volume @10 and being a rec I have tons of fun and winning some money beside is the way for me.
ask Jon ,maybe he will do a really honest video review for you, lots of wisdom hiding there.

I am a rec too as I dont play much volume for certain reasons, that doesnt stop me wanting to do well with the limited time I play. Where I play at my limits stacking off 100bb with JJ will definitely be a losing play, higher up the stakes, its probably what you have to do, but I will probably never reach higher stakes. I mostly always 3 bet JJ except when on the buttong v utg where I 3 bet only against those that are opening wider than standard or against weaker players, but facing a 4 bet I normally call and proceed with caution.
I get that I am a losing player it shows in my results, but I will not drop down as I have explained before. It could just be variance as its only 20k+ hands, or it could be I have much too learn. I only keeping my journey to talk out loud as it helps me to an extent and not all journeys in this game can always be positive. Thanks for your posts.

You just gotta laugh when you get it in on the flop with the nut flush against a nine high flush with a gutterball to the straight flush and he hits his one outer on the river, this is the third time I have been 1 outed on the river in my short career to date, the other two times was top set over set, still 45/1 means in the long term it will come in once in 46. Looking on the bright side it was only against a 40bb stack so it lessened the blow.
Meanwhile though results dont show it I still feel I am improving little by little, and playing okay.
