Live player attempting the online grind
•Edited 8 years ago
my name is Paul I'm 29 and located in the UK, been playing poker recreationally for about 2 years started at a pub league after being pretty dominant there and reaching national finals on various occasions(finished 5th in the nationals from 300 runners) I decided to move onto the casinos, re occurring tournaments mainly apart from a 2 day evenT one casino ran once which I finished 2nd to over 400 runners which was a good result seeing as it was probably my fourth time playing in a casino and in my first year of poker.
Over the 2 years of playing live I've had around 5-6k in earnings some are on my Hendon mob some aren't but I'm pretty pleased with my results and defiantly in decent profit.
As far as playing online I have dabbled in the past never anything serious mainly out of boredom and having a spare couple of hours here and there(HENCE MY SHARKSCOPE LOOKING AWFUL). Now I have decided to knuckle down and study the online game and try to start grinding 2-3 hours a day to start and then increase as I go. First and foremost I am not starting this for the money I'm a sucker for a challenge and wanting to master something, if I can build a good bankroll then happy days but that is not the purpose of me playing online.
Also as far as HUD and stats I am a alien to it all and have been working on it the last couple of days and watching a couple of videos on here(shout out to w34zle he's a genius and his videos are helping me immensely)but this whole online game is new to me and will be a big learning curve so I don't expect to be a winning player from day 1
