NL10 AQ0

This hand was a little annoying. Obviously so far the guy seems a little on the loose aggro side, and maybe a bit spewy, but not a lot of hands on him yet, I'm sure more will come! (Actually annoyingly I think Hold'em Indicator is only showing the stats for the hands played on the table so i have a lot more hands on most of these guys than it shows. So I'll have to make some notes...)

Even this guys JTs are good. And I just wasn't comfortable calling a second barrel here.
What do you think?

Seems normal preflop?

Think you played the hand fine, turn call isn't really that great as you'll be folding to any bet on the turn and our already average hand has little ways to improve, and several ways to fall even further behind.

I like your line.

Looks good to me. Very disciplined fold on the turn, not getting carried away with Top Top. I probably call that turn too much and then have to fold to river bet, or worse still catch 2 pair or trips and get stacked. He can easily be bluffing you, but this is not the spot to make a stand I think.

Turn is a horrible spot where villain can bet probably all of his range and make us fold a better hand. Nothing much we can do though and I'm glad to see you folded.

Villain looks like he isn't going to be scared to fire the river which we can never call so best to get away cheaply.

With his 3 bet at 22% over admittedly a small sample I wonder about the merits of 4 betting for value. Maybe he won't stack off much worse and it's thin if we go with it, but I would expect this player type to call a dominated range OOP a LOT. Against maniacs we have to widen our value range at some point. Just food for thought, I'm not 100% sure.

Pretty bad turn card, puts the 4-to-straight out there. Typically we'd call at least two streets with the TPTK, but we can abandon that plan on this turn card. Preflop is fine and standard.
