nl5 FF 77 Preflop Decision

Posted 7 years agoEdited 7 years ago

Trying to curb my agression just a tad, so making different decisions preflop is all.

So 1st off I'm not even sure if I can raise this given BB has 44bb, but then I may get a call from another position, which of course probably means the BB will tag along; probably. The BB may shove and I call it off quite easily as well HU, it's just that getting HU in Fastforward aint so easy.

When I get 3bet by the reg (the usual 20/16 stuff, not bluffing much postflop), I think my fold is ok because the BB is kinda 'protecting' the pot and likely stop the reg getting out of line, thus making it harder for me to get paid off. If the reg can think at all they'll surely notice the BB stack size ...

...and then the BB can ship it on the flop of course.

Also I'm just setmining most times given our positions, so I folded.
What do you guys think? Re-iso maybe? Seems a bit optimistic to me.

Thanks.

Hero raises to 2.5BB, UTG+1 raises to 9BB, 3 folds, BB calls 8BB, (Hero)?

I think you're over thinking the hand, to me it looks like an easy call with a pocket pair closing the action. We can fold if we miss the flop and get stacks in if we hit. BB is dead money and just 40bb worth of value if we do hit.
