Anon v limper. not much else known yet very loose/passive/as is usual.

Simple question really, are we too deep for me to ship it on the river. I was sooooo tempted!

I had it in my head he could have a 9x which would bring the 6 and the 8 into play and wimped out. Blush

Thanks.

I would make the turn bigger here (probably the flop too depending on the player type) Once you fire the second barrel you're only getting called by Kings/FD and I think that's the case on the flop as well. Bet fold the turn for about 25-30 bb and jam the river.

Their range is 9x (they have a lot as they limped) and missed draws with the donk.

I don't fault you for calling but I'd probably make an exploitative fold here, given their PF action and turn play they look to be on the passive side, don't think these player types are bluffing all that often.

How many times you confrunt with a donk from a fish on the river after you shown strenth and where in front ?

I don't know how you can contemplate shoving here?!?! Like when he bets the river its fairly gross. You said loose/passive is comon then villain x/r otf... Then leads river.... That isn't the signs that a passive players gives off when they haven't got a hand.

Calling is probably best but it is clearly closer to folding than shoving.

Also what do you mean by the might bring the 8 and the 6 into play?

Don't mind checking turn actually and evaluating river, but can miss value from Kx and give draws a free card, so probs fine to bet. Donk lead out smells like a 9 from a double gibbons that raises on the flop. What FD can he have? JT, QJ, T8?!, 56, 78, and that's generous. Would fold river i think.

Looking at the line it all looks good to me and would expect to not see any hands which beat us as villain would just bomb turn and river. It is often a worse K or of course some draws.

I would often make the fold but it just didn't seem to make any sense this time with so few 9s about and I have the best Kx a lot here.

Thanks everybody, good stuff as ever.
