NL10 A2s

Do you think I played this fine?
This guy looks like he'll turn out being quite fishy and I actually give him more credit on the river than some when they take this line.
I chop with A5 and below. What do you think his turn lead means here?
Is my fold too nitty?

Nothing wrong here. A2 once you get to the river should be pretty low in your range. I probably check/flop with this combo to check/call. As played folding the river after facing 2 streets of aggression should be fine.

I see no reason to call the river.

I think your line is fine.

As trollord59 said, checking behind with your no kicker top pair is a valid option. You're only ever going to get 2 streets of value vs most opponents, and this way you can protect your checking range with a strongish hand. This is really for balance concerns which don't matter at 10NL but it's good to become fluent with different lines so you know you have a choice of mixing it up.

Other than the fact that I'd bet slightly bigger on the flop, the rest of the hand is totally fine.

I often lay this type of spot a bit mre passively and play chk flop, it encourages ppl to bet into me on turn or rivers and I sort of bluff-catch with it, but no call for me this time.
