nl5 FF AcKh flop question

Posted 7 years agoEdited 7 years ago

Ok so this guy is a new reg (18/15/4) but seems very straightforward so far after a few 100 hands.

I think I could raise the flop or turn here or I'm kinda stuck bluffcatching with what might be the best hand, but on the river it's easy game. Sometimes I just lose the plot.

I also think I could 4bet preflop but then I'm not going to go broke A high this deep am I, so I flat.

Think I butchered this one so any advice greatly appreciated as ever.

Thanks. Smile

Line looks fine, we could even make an argument for folding the turn as I don't expect worse to value bet nor do I expect players at this level to 2 barrel as a bluff for that sizing (which looks like value).

River is an easy fold.

No need to 4bet AK this deep without reads, I like the call don't want to get jammed on 168bb deep will almost always be AA/KK.

Shows just how much I actually know if I play a hand well and can't recognise it! Blush

Thank you Harvie. Smile

I'm never folding turn here, imo this would be a really bad fold even if he has 100% value it's still a call!

Nice fold on the river, Q is a card where a player as described is never shoving worse than AQ+ for pot

I think your line is good given the stack sizes, though I could also see folding the turn against certain opponents. All in all, well played sir.

Ye against a more competent (lol at that in nl5 FF) I could find the fold, just too tempting here.

Thank everybody! Yes
