Villain playing 17/15! Didn't fancy 3betting his MP range so opted to call

Facing 3 quick & aggressive barrels, do we call river? K comes... sets / AK / AA / KK / KQ in his range... =/

I always seem to struggle in these spots!

I know the flush missed, but do people turn their missed draws into bluffs much at this limit?

I fold river. You mentioned some strong hands he can have but on this runout there are even more. There's 99, 77, JTs made a straight, KJ/KT which were semibluffing now have TP.

That's fine as long as he has enough bluffs though. I just mentioned that his straight draws all pulled ahead of AQ (other than stuff like T8s which I don't think a tight player will have). Then for flush draws you have the Ac which works against you massively since he can't have any AJ-A2 of clubs, any K-high flush draw has TP now and stuff like JT, T9, 98 have either a straight or a pair which isn't likely to 3 barrel. It's really hard for him to be bluffing here unless he's just betting his entire range so I think you can safely fold.

Do you have any bluff from SBvsMP because AQ seems to be a good one. As played you can call 2 streets with TPTK but not the river. You can safetly give up, this hand has so much reversed imp odds. Think how many streets are you beting with TPTK?

With JT getting there I think this is an easy fold. Regs at 5nl are not 3 barrel bluffing and a 17/15 is almost always going to show up with a value hand better than AQ.

While I don't mind flatting pre with a hand like AQo OOP it can set us up for some tough spots postflop. It's in general going to be hard to play without the initiative. I like the line we took in this spot, and river is a fold for me even though it kind of sucks. Our hand is basicly a bluffcatcher and there's a lot of stuff he can take his line with that we don't have beat by the river.

I would usually 3bet but villain was tight as mentioned and had a low fold to 3bet... Was on the fence about it =/ Cheers for the reply!

I think this is a fold on the river and I don't see people on 5NL doing this with anything but 2 pair+ , a nitty player mostly has trips or better here.

Have to agree with most. This sounds like a standard fold on the river. TPTK good to call two streets. You mentioned villain had low fold to 3 bets would be interesting to see what villains stats where post flop in 3 bet pots. In any case like someone else mentioned you only hold a bluff catcher and at these stakes I believe many players are heavily weighted towards value especially on the river.

2nd worse card in the deck to Kc. We just have to fold now the straight got there and 2 pair. Just and unlucky river card.
