How should I play the flop here?
Only 14 hands on villain. VPIP:29, PFR:29

If I check back the flop he will probably lead a blank turn with a big part of his range.

Is "standard" cbet-size in a 4betpot 1/3 potbet?
If I bet 1/3 pot (1.65) and getting raised, what should I do?
If I bet 1/3 pot (1.65) and getting called, what should I do on the turn? What turn-cards can I barrel? The pot will be 8,2$ and we have 6 $ left.

Hi Danwan,
I would prefer to call a 3bet pre.
As played I don't like shoving flop because when he calls a 4bet OOP his range will most likely be something like TT-QQ so I'd check behind and try to get to showdown

calling or 4beting are both fine.

Zero reason to shove the flop, we're never getting called by AQ or worse. By shoving we get them sometimes to fold PP, but most of the time people are calling. The fact that you over shoved kind of reps your hand as AK or some low PP as you would never do this if you had KK-AA.

Checking the flop is best.

Call>>> 4b.

Ap I would probably prefer to bluff with my 4b bluffs that block mid pp although players do like to flat 4v w/AA as well I guess. I'd probably check as we never get pp to fold and everything else we beat. I then call turn and fold river. I would also check back some AA/KK combos to balance this.

Basically what @Harvie said. Postflop is fine but betting the flop serves no purpose in this spot.

Call>>> 4b: Do you mean you prefer calling mostly preflop? What stats are relevant when you make the decision between 4bet and call? I usually call vs a normal reg. and 4bet vs someone who has high VPIP or a high 3bet% (8% and more)

How often and what kind of flops should we cbet?

But we do protect our hand vs this range, get called by draws, put mid pairs under pressure and stops us from getting bluffed. Is there no merit to this jam whatsoever taking that into account?

I will call 100% preflop, if villain 3bets a tonne and stacks of AQ then I 4b. When you get shoved on and you have AKo what are you expecting villain has that you are ahead of? We have like 40% equity and sure fold equity makes it better but it sucks still. Also 8% 3b isn't that much espically bvbtn.

"3 bet range" and "fold to 4 bet"

i don;t know how you can manage to make "a call to 3 bet" profitable with AK.
will much guessing game on flop,
i chose to 4 bet and fold to 5 bets

so you use AKo as a 4b bluff despite the fact you dominate a large chunk of villains 3b range..... It isn't a guessing game OTF when we are IP will either have tp or two overcards to the board, block AA/KK and have a lot of other hands that connect with mid board textures.

ye... GL playing in 3 bet pot with 2 overs or a gutshot Clap

Preflop I think both calling and 4betting are fine. The flop jam seems like a bit too much. If you're trying to fold out his hands that missed then you don't need nearly that large of a bet. By betting smaller you also might get called by AQ/AJ which is a huge win for you. Getting money in against a FD isn't a great accomplishment since you're basically flipping with 55% equity tops depending on which FD he might have. Any overpair that called the 4bet is likely not folding on the 887 flop.

I'd prefer to bet small or to check back and I think checking will be better.

Lol I would go into how my range will be constructed it makes it very profitable to have AKo in my range, but given you 4b fold it and think it's a guessing game post when we dominate villains range and have the best blockers to float with I assume you're a fish and won't understand. If your losing money calling AKo IP btn v blinds then give up poker.

I shall when I'm home, I doubt I'll have a big enough sample for it to mean anything tho :')

only 7 hands so no sample. 40 hands where I have called a 3b pre after rasing w/AKo anddddddddd +2buy ins. Probably didn't play it to well over that period also. I am extremely comfortable having AKo in my call range here and 4b folding it is absurd lol
