Only had 6 hands on this guy, but definitely a rec player based on the outcome. Just wondered if a case could be made to raise this on the flop or the turn. Most of what I hear says you don't raise smaller FDs like this, but I had the gutshot with it and one of the gut shot out is to the stone cold nuts, a straight flush. I opt to call down and do bink my flush on the river. I am not sure what this guy is putting th rest of his money in for, other than he doesn't think I have a straight or a flush because I never raised. Due to the outcome I feel I played it prefect, but wonder if raising earlier and getting it in faster is a better option, even if you can be out flushed.

Nah I like the line you took. If you raise he is not folding sets, overpairs or straights. I can't put him on much total air with an overbet donk into an open raiser and odd min 3better. He can have some combo draws and small pairs as he figures you have squadoosh on a stick after you only flat the odd min raise and don't squeeze his overcall and the SB I'm guessing is pretty weak player.

When you flat the flop I guess he can put you on like 99-66, Ax maybe, and FD's. If you had a set or better or NFD you are raising. SB called and god only knows what he's doing. I guess Ax is a lot of his range?

River completes the FD but overcards all the pairs. Ax bricks and any funky SD's. If he checks he risks getting bluffed off the best hand so he bombs. I might be giving him too much credit here, I'm just a rec fish though!

Your line looks spot on.

Even though villain can have better flushes on the river, it can't be good to draw on the turn intending to fold the river for less than a pot size bet. He probably plays a straight the same way as well for the little money left behind

I'm not a fan of raising at any point because we never really get it in as a favourite, and we have position too.

Raising can never be terrible just because we have a combo-draw but it's unlikely to be worth it. He could easily be somewhat strong + we are still dominated by any of his draws. Usually a good one to play slow, line looks fine.
