Anon v bit of a loose type up to now but nothing spectacularly spewy. Not very aggressive.

I think my turn bet was too weak versus this guy, but then his river bet didn't make a lot of sense unless he has 2P+.

In hindsight I think a raise on river was appropriate, I can't really see 78 getting to the river so I should think his bet looks a bit like a block bet to me, I think str/sets bet large. I didn't see the turn as particularly bad for me and the river is a blank.
I think I left money out there again.

What do you guys think?

I'd like a bigger bet on the turn, maybe ~14bb. Turn isn't a complete blank but it's also fine for you. KJ pulls ahead but it also gives villain some 2nd best 2-pair hands.

River is odd. I don't think we can just call the blocker bet with top 2 pair here. I'd probably go for a small raise and fold if he shoves. There are tons of worse hands that can call like many 2-pairs and frankly if you make it like 30bb on the river any single pair he donked with might call also. I don't expect any of the worse hands to shove though so that's why I like r/f. Hopefully he's not the type to massively overvalue QT here and shove it Laugh

I'd agree with bigger on the turn, but I can't hate the sizing, I always size too small. Raise/fold as Komodo says would be theoretically best I guess as QT, T9, AT, A9, A6 (probably most likely of that lot) will all call. Sets would have raised sooner surely unless he has 66 which would be crazy call down to that point from him. I would be so tempted to flat it because all I would see is KJ when those chips appear in front of the passive player donking the river. In the end though I think the click back only takes it to the sort of size I would value bet anyway so if he shoves and I fold then he has made no more money from me, if he calls and has a set, then he makes no more from me. If he folds I've made more that cbet, if he calls and I win I made more than cbet.

Only way this is bad is if he decides to shove as a bluff (or with QT) and you fold but would be the same outcome if he had check jammed so nothing to worry about WP that guy.

I'm definitely betting bigger on the turn with all the worse two pair combos out there now, plus there's J+pair hands too which aren't going anywhere.

Interesting river spot. I like @Komododragonjesus idea of raise folding against such a small lead. I'd be interested to know what size bet would change that choice to just a call.

Villain almost certainly has showdown value when he does this so he's unlikely to turn his hand into a bluff if you make a small raise to maybe 35bb or so

Nice job everybody thank you very much. I to thought of raise/folding but really didn't know to how much at the time, tanked and called.

Thanks Smile
