Villain is a regular on my tables... 2k hands, 23/17/40
I annoyed him with lots of 3bets and 4bets this afternoon. He has a 4bet range of only 0.7%, but I could not let go of my AK as I thought he might start to fight back sometime...
my reasoning for the way i played:
the bet on the flop is sooooo small that he is either incredible strong or super weak. so i called with the plan to fold on the turn if he double barrels
after check check on the turn I thought that he could only have AK or worse. every AA and KK would keep on betting the turn, every AhKh should.
So my plan was to get him of AK because i did not want to chop I bet only half pot because this looks stronger than a shove and if he was slowplaying me on the turn i would not lose my whole stack..... good idea or bad idea??
