PLO50 KTTQ. donking flop

$0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/6PLAYERS /Prima

Is it good idea to donk here? Villian is a decent reg so I am afraid he might check back this flop if he has some sort of overpair with FD.

Yeah i like to donk here. Wee need protection and this is a play we can do with many different types of hands to put him in a tough spot with his percieved range.

I like donking here, pretty wet board however is pot-sized too big? Makes your hand pretty face up IMO. Would something like $6/7 be better for protection and for value?

When you pot it you create a situation where he folds all the junk and continues with hands that are sets or have good equity versus you. You isolate yourself against strong range. The key is our opponent's cbetting tendencies. If he cbets too much, then c-raise/c-call, if he likes to check back then donk. But don't donk for a pot, that looks pretty strong. Around $7 is a lot better and keeps his defending range wider.
