100NL unusual allin pre

Is this bad and lucky? felt like the right play at the time atleast Smile
Though i was flipping alot aginst the short stack and was pretty sure i could push out the big stack.

Defo a fold when there's a player left to act who just called a rather large 3bet and we are holding A8s. Would always be folding this. Even BvB I don't think A8 is strong enough to get all in against a 46bb stack.

Is it though.. 46bb stack only flatting preflop, i think it's pretty obvious what he has , and then i see all the dead money and i thought i could get him to fold, even if he has KK QQ and JJ and calls, im not in terrible shape...

My plan worked out and my reads were spot on at this time, i mean a safer approach would be to just flat and take a flop but....

I think A8s makes a nice flat once there's two callers.

As played I would still be concerned about UTG coming along once he see the short stack put his chips in.
