$11 Min Monday 6 max - A7s line check

Posted 7 years ago

Mid to late stages, aggro image, villain was playing 39/19 with 75% cb.

I dont really want to check raise this hand and have to call off I think we can do that with other heart combos that have no s/d value.

Turn I feel is perfect for us to start repping and I think a 1/3 bet achieves this, villain cant really do much with his range vs that sizing and we get to realise our equity for the price we set with this hand.

River I think continuing to rep 6x which we have plenty of given that I'm likely defending any 2 suited in the BB vs UTG min raise, 2/3 pot seems to work nicely to both look value heavy and apply max pressure on villains 1 pair hands and fold out his missed draws.

WUG think?

I dont like the donk with this hand and on this texture. Quite a small portion of our range will be 6x compared to mid pockets, Jx, FD's and str8 draws. With the price he gets and the line we take I dont expect hiom to fold many better hands than ours, might even call AK,AQ. Id rather take this line with a hand that couldnt call or c/r turn like 74s,43s type of hand.

Wouldn't those 74s 34s types be better c/r candidates though, being the v bottom of our range?

I like the idea of setting our own price to see the river with this hand and maybe the other Ax hh combos because if we play c/r on the turn we may get blown off our equity if we get jammed on or be committed to having to fire on blank rivers into what could be a boat or strong 1 pair hands + we may have had s/d value in the first place? (Not looked at sidings if we do c/r turn though so we could be pot committed to calling a jam anyways)

If we play c/c on the turn we likely get a lot of check backs on heart rivers and leading heart rivers likely gets a lot of folds?

You ain't fooling anyone with this line and can't see villain folding to often, with stack sizes you can check call turn and check fold river.
