5NL - KK (4Bet pot, A-high flop)

Posted 8 years ago

Anon. We 4Bet pre and then see this flop.

1. Should we just stick the money in pre?

2. As played, Hero on flop?

I don't think sticking the money in pre is a good idea. 4 bet is best like you did.

No need to bet the flop, hard to extract value from anything and we're folding if shoved on. Would start by checking and seeing what they do. I'm expeting them to check all their PP back and bet Ax and perhaps bluffs.

As for the preflop, standard 4bet will be a better play most of the time. Unless you have a reason to go for exploitable sizing (recreational player) I'd also make it a bit smaller pre.

Flop is player dependant, but I wouldn't bet it. It might be a good idea to call one street vs. some players if villain decides to bet, but folding vs. more passive ones is also fine.
