Posted 7 years ago

Hi guys! Yeah, Im still grinding for the ones who recall me. 2017 fresh start again. Important to never give up!

Well, I bring this hand:

Prelop:
MP limps.
I raise to 4bb.
SB calls
MP calls.

Flop as shown in image.

Flop:
SB checks.
MP raises to 0.62
I call
SB raises to 2.05
MP calls.

What to do?

I'll give my thoughts after some opinions.Attached Image

Shove. Very drawy flop and even though SB is usually pretty strong here, he can also have a lot of draws. Hopefully you can push one of them out and get it HU. I think MP would very often get in a set here vs SB, so I think he is pretty weak.

Folding here, while I think the MP range is fairly wide, the SB flop raise is pretty darn strong, expecting to see a flopped set more often than not, and for them to call with a good amount of their draws assuming they are a reg.

Well, I agree. According to the ranges I established, I have around 35% equity on this spot. I believe SB holds a set also or maybe a monster draw.

Don't you think there are enough regs who raise a nutted FD here or a combo draw like TJss?

You don't block flush draws which helps. I think I would peel here and see what happens on the turn.
