Need more info in this hand. Like his 3bet%, barreling frequency, how often does he overbet turns?

Its though for us to fold since we wont have many better hands to call with. Having JTcc is good since he then can have bluffs with hands like Kckx QcQx etc. We are realisticly only loosing to AA and KcQc so not many combos at all.

villain unknown... 30 hands zero 3bets so far... rather nitty... but who can tell after 30 hands

I am pretty much at the top of my range, but he played the AA story very convincing - at least for me. i lost a 250bb pot the day before I nitted up as well so I did not want to lose everything again. As it is NL5 is he really doing this with enough hands that I beat?

Snap call for me and if villain has aces - nice hand - move on.

Your 2nd post above is far too results orientated, you need to get past this as soon as you can. Cards have no memory so what happened previously has no bearing on what might be happening now. If you get stacked for 250bb in one hand, do you open fold aces the next on another table because you are fearful of getting stacked for 250bb there as well? This is basically what your post says.
I've been there enough, just try not to let previous results affect your present decisionmaking. I know it can be tough, particularly for deeper stacks, but it's entirely necessary.

Not sure I said that well enough, it's mental game stuff again, so maybe a more experienced type can help you out, like MattVIP perhaps.

I'm going to have to disagree with others that this is a trivial call. When villain overbets turn here and follows through I expect him to have it a very chunky %. He can have KQss and obviously AA so this is a very narrow range, but this just is not a line that is taken by people bluffing very often at all. Very few people at these limits are willing to fire it off for 250bb. The only issue with folding is that if he is ever doing this with worse flushes then we're making a massive mistake.

Agree with Fergal that this is not an easy call at all. Remember every so often we are the lucky mutha with 88 here. The first question becomes can we fold all of our flushes here. I don't think so, we can't just have 1 combo with pocket eights to call down. Let's say the flushes we have are KQ, KJ, QJ, JT and T9. I think if we are going to pick one to call, the choice is between KQ, effectively the nut flush, and JT or T9. KQ is good because it beats worse flushes. JT and T9 are good because they don't block AK and AQ. Both options still lose to Aces and we just have to accept that. Personally I'm going with KQ. I think it's more likely villain 3bets worse suited connectors and calls the stronger ones, and it seems less likely that top pair (with a club kicker say) bets so large on the turn. More likely the flush draw that got there.

Or flip a coin Smile
