KsQc To bluff or not to bluff! :)

Posted 7 years agoEdited 7 years ago

Versus an oldschool reg (standard tables so no stats), raises then cbets any board for 2/3. I've been playing back at them a fair bit over 1k hands or so, 3betting(folds a lot preflop), floating and probing the turn after they check(getting folds), that sort of stuff. Good fun and no, maybe not necessary, but then that's why it's nl2, it's an experiment ...
I waited til the turn because 'nobody' bluff raises the turn. Smile

Is it a poor bluff given the positions and info? I don't think shoving the river achieves anything positive do you?

Thanks

I would 3bet pre

c/c on the flop is pretty standard I guess

c/r on the turn is fine (especially as you have the Ks)

I do not like your flop play. After you check you basically revealled that you were bluffing. You made TP2K. You are beat by alot at this point but I guess b/f is a better play.

I think I prefer a river shove, the betting has gone perfect for sizing wise, you bink the king against what sounds like an aggro player, not scared of much here

Ok thank you very much people! Smile

I think this is fine..
Meh if you wanna value raise river. I think i just bink and bet/fold to a raise, but he's aggro i mean like... what does he have? We got top per bby.
Don't mind checking river really if he's aggro, and then ye, jamming can give good results but generally this whole line is fine.

Also, yes, X/R turn is nice, building pot, we rep this board harder than he does etc etc. We wanna win some money when we get lucky and bink a king.
