Anon v unknown. Not many hands.

Just a general question about 'What's My Line.' Is the way I played this ok os should I perhaps slow down a it and play it more demurely?

I equilab'd it and came up with this, does the range make sense? Am I missing anything out?

JJ,88,66,AJs,A6s,KQs,KTs,QTs,AJo,T9o

I only get a measley 37% if I'm right, even though it looks pretty.

Thanks.

Such a gross spot, but I think you'd have to fold.

I think you played it fine, maybe a little bigger on flop. For the price we get, we need a lot of equity which it doesn't look like we have.

Guy seems like a whale to me, so muck the hand and pick up a better spot Smile

Turn is a fold once you get shoved on.

Personally I would check the turn even though it improved our hand for the reason that I don't expect them to fold anything on the turn that called the flop. We don't have much FE so I prefer a c-c over a bet.

I agree with Harvie about checking the turn.

The clincher for me is that when we c bet an ace high board we expect anybody calling to have a stronger range than if it were heads up. For that reason our fold equity on the turn is greatly reduced.

With one card to come we're still not a favourite against a hand like A5d, about a 2-1 dog, so we need a fair few folds to make the bet work.

Ye, thanks everybody for that; I really must curb my enthusiasm sometimes.

Seems I brought this one upon my self. Doh!
